A Wirral motorist has been banned from driving after testing positive for cocaine. Warren Trueman, 42, of North Brooke Way, Woodchurch, appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court on September 21. A gun found buried on New Brighton beach has been handed to police for examination. Officers were contacted by a member of the public at around 3:15 pm on Tuesday after the weapon, believed to be a self-loading pistol, was discovered buried in the sand.
